Polaris Alpha, a Parsons Company is now hiring a Contract Administrator with a desire to work on critical projects that will change the fabric of our community and our nation. This position is based in Annapolis Junction, MD, and the successful candidate will perform all contract activities from cradle to grave. We need our Contract Administrators to be versatile, enthusiastic, team-oriented, and able to succeed in a highly dynamic environment. They should also possess exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. Typical responsibilities include, but are not be limited to, the following:
• Propose, negotiate, administer and terminate contracts, subcontracts, task orders and amendments with the Federal Government and commercial customers
• Manage contract and subcontract performance by monitoring budgets, compliance documents, schedules, deliverables and recommendations
• Provide regular status reports to management
• Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, customer specifications and Government regulations
• Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure compliance, accuracy and completeness
• Participate in teaming and strategic marketing alliance negotiations between Company and outside sources
• Prepare Teaming Agreements, MOUs, MOAs, NDAs and other contractual documents
• Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents
• Participate in Government and customer contract audits
