  • Job Description

    Polaris Alpha, a Parsons Company is seeking an experienced ELINT Systems Engineer to provide expert ELINT system engineering support to airborne sensor systems. You will collaborate across multiple organizations to influence current and the next generation of ELINT systems, radar technologies, signal data processing technologies, and communications techniques. The team supports the analysis, research, development, test and evaluation of new technologies for current and future Army ELINT, SIGINT, and EW systems.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar technical field
    • 5+ years’ experience working as a SIGINT or ELINT Systems Engineer or Systems Integrator for ELINT, SIGINT radar and ISR systems
    • 5+ years of experience in ELINT, ISR, and radar system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, data analysis and model and simulation (M&S).
    • 5+ years of experience in the development of test plans, procedures and schedules, conducting tests, and generating reports detailing laboratory and field tests/demonstrations.
    • 5+ years of systems engineering & testing including algorithm development
    • Experience performing trade studies and the analysis and evaluation of ELINT, ISR and radar concepts and capabilities.
    • Develop operational view, technical standards view, and system and services view for architectures using applicable DoDAF standards
    • Experience with signal processing techniques including energy detection, channelization, phase coherency, Doppler compensation, demodulation, etc.
    • Experience in the preparation of technical reports, technical briefings, technical drawings, performance work statements, system developmental schedules, performance specifications, and requirements documentation, and in presenting results to senior management.
    • This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense TS/SCI level security clearance, which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.
