The Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) is located in Bavaria, Germany at the Hohenfels Training Area (HTA), Grafenwohr Training Area (GTA), Amberg Training Area (ATA) and when directed by the government, other Country Training Areas (OCTA) in the US European Command (EUCOM) area of responsibility has a critical requirement for mission-support services to enhance and facilitate rotational unit training. This effort is for a non-commercial contract that consists of a 12-month period-of-performance and four additional option periods. JMRC is one of three Combat Training Centers (CTCs) in the U.S. Army, and the only one located outside the United States. JMRC plans and conducts maneuver training exercises for brigade‐size units preparing to conduct high‐intensity, counter‐insurgency, peacekeeping, and other military operations. The Training Center provides a myriad of indispensable capabilities to the U.S. Army, our European allies and other partners. Unique to this CTC is that JMRC integrates multinational participation into every rotation.
The FBCB2, EPLARS, BFT, JCR and JBCP Equipment Technician is the contract liaison for the FBCB2, EPLARS, BFT, JCR and JBCP systems. They shall identify technical, procedural, hardware, and software related issues that need to be addressed by the JMRC Operations Group to ensure adequate employment of DCGS-A capabilities during rotations. Coordinate with CECOM for maintenance related issues. They shall conduct functionality testing of the TADSS/MILES to identify items for repair. Equipment requiring maintenance issued to maintenance within 72 hours of discovery. TADS requiring shipment to maintenance activity will be readied with 72 hours of discovery.
Equipment received from maintenance stored in warehoused per Government COR and Hand Receipt Holder instruction the day received. Contractor will use GCSS-Army for maintenance accountability and services.
