    Polaris Alpha Advanced Systems, a Parsons Company, is seeking a White Cell Technical Experiment/Evaluation Lead to support the U.S. Army Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) at the client site in Tampa, Florida. Candidates must be customer-oriented and possess relevant experience and/or technical capabilities in: field experimentation, operations project management, risk management, data collection, white and red teaming, vulnerability analysis, and technical report writing. Candidates will support collaboration, integration, adaptation, and ad hoc experimentation across private industry, government, academia, and military domains. Candidates must be willing to travel to various experiment locations. Candidates need to be flexible, able to understand technical information as well as documentation generation, and work multiple products within stringent timelines. Candidates should possess excellent oral and verbal communication skills, be a team player, and be able to work across a diverse team and customer base of scientists, engineers, technicians, military and government contractors and civilians, industry, team leads, and management. Must be able to clearly communicate results of analysis and assessments and recommend new approaches and technical solutions.

    This position requires the selected candidates to hold an active Department of Defense secret level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.

    Required Skills

    Duties may include any of the following:

    • Design, develop, plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly field experimentation events and various off-cycle activities that explore a process for information sharing, requirements development, technology development, and vulnerability analysis.
    • Manage the quantitative and qualitative assessment of technologies and coordinate collaborative CONUS assessments of technical capability.
    • Coordinate technology development and technical integration of sensors, software, and network-based technologies.
    • Evaluate project schedules and developer resource allocations to ensure successful development of approved experiments and equipping requirements.
    • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional and cross-team planning sessions to ensure integration of critical path execution activities, including representatives from industry, academia, and the government.
    • Conduct contingency planning and participate in experiments as required.
    • Conduct pre-deployment site surveys, planning meetings, quarterly field experiments, and off-cycle field activities.
    • Identify risks within ongoing or proposed development projects and activities and provide mitigation strategies to address risks.
    • Supervise the preparation and publication of pre-experiment documents and technical reports in conjunction with the technical team, service members, and participants.
    • Work closely with vendors and developers for feature additions, sensor integration, usability, and fixes.
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Some familiarization with Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to work on multiple products and meet timelines with accurate documents
    • Ability to understand and analyze technical data
    • Ability to independently recognize and understand changes and how those changes will impact technical collection, documents, and reports
    • Flexibility and adaptability are an absolute must in all aspects of the job
    • Familiarity with DOD processes and operations
    • Military experience a plus
