    We are is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support on-going research and development (R&D) efforts at one of the Army’s premier R&D Centers of Excellence at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. This position will influence the Army’s next generation Electronic Warfare (EW) technologies. The successful candidate will support the design and development of FPGAs using VHDL technology for current and future Army EW systems.

    Required Skills

    • At least 3 years’ experience with FPGA/VHDL development
    • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field
    • Active Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level security clearance required (or be obtainable)
    • Must work in Government facility in APG, MD

    Desired Skills

    • Knowledge and experience in EW and ISR systems and technologies
    • Electronic Protection, Electronic Attack, Cyber, Electronic Support Techniques and Technology
    • Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
    • Broadband/Multispectral Components and Systems
    • Cognitive/Adaptive Capabilities
    • Distributed/Coordinated/Net-Enabled Systems
    • Preemptive/Proactive Effects
    • Preparation of technical reports, technical briefings, technical drawings, performance work statements, system developmental schedules, performance specifications, and requirements
    • Active DOD TS/SCI level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
    Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
