    We are looking for a candidate that will work as a lead member of a engineering team on complex software development projects. This position involves participating in design meetings, implementing and testing software solutions, and creating technical documents. The position are open to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of software development and Information assurance experience. Must be Information Assurance (IA) Trained and Certified per the Defense Federal Acquisition. Regulation Supplement; IAW DoD 8570.1-M,

    Essential Functions:

    The primary function of this position is to provide Information Assurance (IA) compliance updates and testing for a LINUX environment of Army applications. Prepare/configure systems, servers and applications for ATO accreditation; this includes the application of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) updates, establishing and/or correcting registry and Active Directory group policy settings to deploy a secure and functional system. This would include items supporting a LINUX computing environment and various client applications.

    Required Skills

    Experience with LINUX systems and maintaining the security posture as follows:
    • Installing IAVM patches on at least a quarterly basis.
    • Updating the anti-virus signatures at least bi-weekly.
    • Performing SCC scans on at least a quarterly basis.
    • Analyzing and implementing, when feasible, STIG policies on a quarterly basis. This effort user registry and Active Directory group policy settings.
    • Tracking the security posture continuously (risk analysis).
    • Interfacing with technical leads regularly to communicate security and Plan of Action status.
    • Working with developers to implement and ensure STIG compliance and overall security.
    • Develop and document TSI security policy in accordance with the program policy



    Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years' experience from an accredited course of study, in computer science, engineering, mathematics or similar.

    This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
    Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
