Our team is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with an enterprise Software Development background who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be a member of a growing Agile team supporting activity as a member of Polaris Alpha’s Space Operations Department. You will work with space analysts and software engineers to determine the best way to visualize data for a dynamic planning and tasking tool for space surveillance assets. Applicants will work on specific technical tasks as defined by the customer and program/technical management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conducts research in design, development, testing, and utilization of electronic data processing software
• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems
• Ensures software standards are met. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
