Our Customer requires a System Engineer to support a new project that tests and evaluates CAD tools and libraries that are being developed under an IARPA (Intelligence Advanced Research Project Activity) project called SuperTools. The System Engineer will work in concert with teams at Sandia National Labs, MIT, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and others to test and evaluate CAD tools used to design very large scale superconducting circuits.

The candidate will split her/his time between the SuperTools T&E effort and other programs that may require ASIC design and verification tasks.

Required Skills

The System Engineer shall prepare documentation for, and communication with, IARPA. The documentation includes Test and Evaluation (T&E) plans, monthly reports, GFE inventory/tracking reports, and other items requested by IARPA.

The Candidate should posses ASIC design experience including coding, synthesis, and simulation so that she/he can support other programs and assist with testing SuperTools.

Quarterly travel to San Francisco will be required.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision uses for reading and computer use.
