Job Description

EOIR Technologies is actively seeking a Senior RF engineer (5-10 year-experience) to support various programs at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).

This position is within the Applied Development, Integration, and Testing Support Division and candidates would work with team members, other contractors, and government scientists, engineers, technicians, and logistics supporting the design, development, integration, testing, characterization and analysis of RF and spectrum dependent systems.

Required Skills

• General RF equipment knowledge
• Experience operating RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
• Experience in the areas of digital signal processing, RF spectrum measurement, EMI and EMC criteria for operational spectrum coordination
• Experience in the preparation of technical documents, which include test plans/reports and analytical evaluation of systems’ RF compatibility, the performance of engineering analyses to predict and define EMI problems, and the definition of corrective measures to mitigate EMI
• Experience in design, development and implementation of analog and digital hardware and/or software related to RF systems
• Experience with Navy Radar, communications, EW, and general spectrum management/spectrum engineering
• Willing and able to support test trips (CONUS/OCONUS)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Effective communication skills
• Offer is contingent on maintaining a SECRET DOD security clearance

Desired Skills

• Experience with RF system and platform integration is highly desirable
• Experience with spectrum management software and/or DoD spectrum certification process
• Ability to perform link analyses
• Experience with scripting test equipment, such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers
• Ability to learn and understand models and other analysis software tools (e.g. HFSS, CST, MATLAB)

• Bachelors and/or Masters in Science one or more of the following areas: Physics, Pulsed Power, and/or Electrical Engineering
