Our Government Compliance Analyst supports internal and operational reviews of business system internal controls and procedures including time and labor charging, purchasing, estimating, accounting for unallowable costs, government property, and accounting. Prepares reports summarizing findings, reviews results with management and makes recommendations for corrective actions. May assist in the completion or review of the company’s incurred cost submissions. Acts as liaison with DCAA responding to audit requests including accumulation of supporting documentation and presenting the information to the government. This position reports to our Government Compliance Officer.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business Administration or related field;
• 3 years of general business/accounting experience at a government contractor;
• Familiarity with FAR and CAS;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with others and work independently;
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with various types of audits performed by DCAA;
• Auditing experience;
• Understanding of Incurred Cost Submission requirements;
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos is a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
