Job Description

You Will be:
- Responsible for development and maintenance of the PRSCVE phased training and network development curriculum used to maintain and improve the Afghanistan observer network performance, data validity, and network weighting/distribution
- Travel throughout a deployed environment providing training of atmospheric and sociocultural analysis and perspective to Afghanistan observer network and military units
- Serve as expert in atmospheric and sociocultural qualitative / quantitative data collection design to include leveraging the PRSCVE Enterprise, Observer Network, and National Call Center to recommend process improvements
- Develop and maintain detailed records of vetted Afghanistan observer network and National Call Center personnel
- Produce technical reports and atmospheric products relevant to various military customers
- Possess ability to deploy for 6 months at a time in an austere environment

Required Skills

- BA/BS in a technical discipline plus 6-12 years of technical and customer-specific training experience (8 years of additional experience, training and/or certifications may be substituted for BA/BS)

Desired Skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English, Dari, and Pashto)
- Experience with atmospherics and sociocultural data products, customer-specific processes and infrastructure, software systems development, system integration, database administration, or network engineering
- Subject matter expert in atmospherics, sociocultural data, data cleaning, coding and manipulation, data exploration, visualization, qualitative and quantitative analytics
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision uses for reading and computer use.
