The Facilities Manager will oversee facility related areas which include Property Management, Furniture Management, Space Planning, Physical Security planning, and the Facility Help Desk tickets on a daily basis. This position will require exceptional organizational, and verbal skills. As part of the daily duties the Facilities Manager will oversee Construction Projects, and lease renewals as well as modifications. Coordination of tasks and projects to minimize the impact on Polaris Alpha employees. This role will also track ongoing issues and escalate as needed with Property Management to ensure Polaris Alpha is receiving appropriate services in accordance with the lease. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for tracking Help Desk tickets and follow through to ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two or more years of experience in Property Management or Facilities
Experience working with trouble tickets
Experience working with diverse groups of individuals
Excellent interpersonal skills

Desired Skills

Able to learn and adapt to a constantly evolving environment.
Able to perform tasks not typically associated with Facilities
Self Starter that will require minimal guidance
Ability to balance and prioritize work
Good analytical and problem solving skills to provide recommendations and or solutions to complex issues
Good communication skills

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
