EOIR Technologies, a Polaris Alpha company, is seeking an experience Installer located at Ft. Hood.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Personnel shall install program equipment as per the fielding schedule and in support of test events. The fielding schedule will change dependent upon priorities as set by DA.
Installations shall be performed utilizing accepted procedures provided as technical manuals, technical bulletins and equipment drawings.
Below is a representative sample of installation requirements:
When providing installation services for JCR LOG or JBC-P Log, the unit of issue is supported by the KLO/FFR/MTOE with extra IKs built into the authorization.
Installation Kits shall be installed in vehicles/platforms without LRUs which provides units flexibility to move JBC-P-LOG/JCR-LOG between assigned vehicles. In addition, although JCR/JCR-LOG/JBC-P is a software upgrade, the contractor shall support the installation of hardware onto platforms that have been identified to receive JCR/JCR-LOG/JBC-P capabilities to include upgrading installation kits/hardware to support the increased hardware requirements or platforms that have not received FBCB2 equipment previously.
This includes reallocation and installation of operational legacy baseline equipment.
Personnel shall install BFT-2 transceivers at locations that have been previously fielded or designated as initial fielding locations. Installation will consist of installing and provisioning the BFT-2 transceiver, cabling and mounting hardware onto FBCB2/BFT/JCR/JCR-LOG/JBC-P platforms.
Personnel shall install KGV-72s at locations that have been previously fielded or designated as initial fielding. Installation shall consist of installing KGV-72 devices, cabling and mounting hardware onto FBCB2/BFT platforms.
The Contractor shall conduct firmware upgrades and software profiling on KGV-72 Programmable Inline Encryption Devices (PIEDs) via the KGV-72 Software Maintenance Delivery Program (SMDP).
Personnel shall install Mounted Family of Computers (MFoCS) Hardware in platform/command post systems by JBC-P BOIP or Capability Set Network Basis of Issue (NBOI).
This may include integration/loading of Fires/Command Post system capabilities as cohosted software in some platform configurations (Examples are AFATDS, LFED, CPOF Gateway). This includes legacy (JV5/MRT+) and future computing hardware.

Responsible for Troubleshooting, Installation, and maintenance of mission command equipment, communications equipment, electronics equipment, or as appropriate for the task. Capability to distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems. Perform fielding, installation, operations, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, exercise and test support and maintenance. Must have hands-on or educational experience in one of the following core technical areas: electronics, network support (hardware/software), computers (hardware or software), fielding major systems, satellite networks, data
encryption, web-based apps, encryption devices, COMSEC, Fires, Command Post, or Platforms.

Required Skills

High School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) with one year's experience.

This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of
Defense Secret level security clearance which requires US citizenship while
working in support of a government contract.
